The RFID HF Multiplexer expands an HF reader’s capability by adding support for up to 12 antennas. Digital control of the RFID HF Multiplexer is accomplished by either the host processor or reader module allowing any of the 12 antennas to be explicitly addressed using 4 GPIO pins. Additional multiplexers can be added to increase the number of antennas a module can support beyond 12 presenting a scalable solution.
